It has been continuously raining for the past week and I prayed for at least 2 hour of sunshine today and the Lord giveth! Was able to do my first ride! For the babies!

Tire Blow Out Day
Thursday 17th Mar
11th Day of Extra Mile
Friday 11th Mar Great three days of consecutive sunny weather! Been able to log-in over 130 kilometers. Was able to do the San-Souci-Monterey-Brighton Grand Parade Cycling Trail then to Wolli Creek and the Cook's River Cycling Trail to Homebush Bay. Quite a few wet areas and puddles but most segments were clear. I did the route to Kurnell Point today - have not been there or some time. Enjoyed the ride in the late afternoon sun and the views. Day 9 Cook's River Cycle Trail to Homebush Bay
Wednesday 9th Mar Party cloudy turned sunny afternoon so went on take the Cook's River Cycle Trail to Homebush Bay. The trail had several segments with puddles of water or partly flooded but was able to reached my turnaround point at Chain of Ponds. Was careful navigating the Wolli Creek to Marickville segment because I had a bad spill there a couple of days ago and had to turn back. The ride went well without any mishaps and returned home in one piece :). Took a selfie in Burwood's new welcome sign. Will cycle again tomorrow since the forecast is sunny. La Nina March!
Saturday 5th Mar Well, it's been raining for a couple of weeks now but managed to eke out a few kilometers every time the skies clears. It's been iffy and I've been caught out in the rain for a couple of times but so far glad to lodge the kilometers I've done to-date. Let's pray that the sun comes out at least a couple of hours each day next week. Today was great but had other commitments to tend to. Here's to a sunny week and see you all out there!
